On my Flip Your Script podcast, I recently interviewed Jesse and Hollie Erickson. Their son, Bedford, was born with a rare genetic condition that makes daily life difficult. Hollie started social media channels to connect with people with the same condition. It didn’t take long for “It’s a Wonderful Life with Bedford” to spread and impact people who were also dealing with hard things.
Jesse said on the podcast, “One of the early messages we got was from a girl who wasn’t very specific, but essentially just sort of said that she was probably going to commit suicide or hurt herself, and saw Bedford’s video of him trying to get up on the curb, and that just changed her perspective completely.”
